03. TYPE DESIGN WORKSHOP DEMONSTRATION (2024)

METHOD

This demonstration was created for the Type Design Workshop - Seed 01, a program specifically designed to fit within five days, with sessions lasting approximately four hours each. Participants focused on designing key lowercase and uppercase letters, drawing directly from their calligraphy sheets.

The showcased demo was entirely hand-drawn and subsequently scanned into digital artwork, without the use of Bézier curves.

02. THANK YOU HANOI (2024)

VISION

In 2024, Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi celebrated its first anniversary as Hanoi’s premier destination for upscale entertainment and shopping. Marking this milestone with a heartfelt 'Thank You' to the people of Hanoi, the campaign identity personified the number '1' in festive, welcoming environments.

A custom cursive sans-serif logo, crafted in both English and Vietnamese, enhanced the celebratory tone while balancing minimalism and friendliness, all while aligning with the mall's brand identity.

01. PRIDE SANS (2023)

VISION

The VietPride Scholarship supports LGBTIQ+ individuals facing financial barriers to education. Pride Sans, a custom humanist sans-serif font featuring geometric elements that reflect the brand's essence, represents the scholarship's brand identity. Designed for both English and Vietnamese, it is ideal for bold headlines and displays.

The brand identity system is flexible and adaptable, evolving across various media while honoring the LGBTQI+ community.
